Saberdile

Had this sitting around as a sketch forever, but 's awesome sabertooth made me feel like coloring it. Reminded me just how nice a burnt-cheese color scheme can be
and then it became more coloring practice than anything.. I've been trying to combine gradiated stuff with shading.. still haven't gotten the hang of it but the coat was fun. the darker bits are supposed to be thinner fur where the underlying crocodile skin is. Yeah it has thick armored skin under its fur.
it was originally going to be part boar too, mostly the mane, ears, and maybe kind of the nose? but nah. just smilodon and crocodile is best.
i suppose i could have made the shoulders bigger/better-shaped..
