DeviantART is now removing my journals complaining about complaining about them removing my journals about complaining about their terrible moderation.

Just take my main URL and add /journal/Well-that-s-kind-of-hilarious-1028660023 then search that on the web archive. youll get caught up to speed.

If you're looking at my front page here and you either don't have an account, or you're using Eclipse, just know this is not "how I have it set up."   I can't even use Eclipse on my preferred browser, and I'm holding out as long as I can.
When I open it up on another computer, not logged in, I can see... this thing has all my badges out, including ones I didn't want. It has that asinine modern pronoun garbage. I don't want to risk screwing it up by trying to edit it in another browser (which still doesn't load images in Eclipse properly), so just ignore all of that. Try to pretend you're looking at a normal website like I set it up on my end, on normal-DeviantART. In the meantime I guess I'll try to link people directly to the gallery when I show people my art.

EDIT: wow, my subscription is expiring.. that's kind of surreal after like 15 years. But they've doubled the price, and they don't punish you as hard anymore for not having one (they used to withhold THUMBNAILS in your notifications page), and I hate DA and don't want to give them any money, so...

Just remember it's not nice to ghost people. Especially someone you were really enjoying talking to, then disappeared for some reason.
Some kind of explanation is always good. Just drop them a line and let them know you're okay. Or not okay. Or have a friend do it, if you can't. Even if you're having a big bucket of anxiety, think about how you're giving that same feeling to somebody else.
We're all gonna be dead pretty soon, so there's no point in practicing now.
I miss all of you.

So I'm typing this via speech to text right now because I totally broke my elbow and sprained my other wrist so no art for awhile sorry. 4 to 6 weeks until I have full ability with my left hand and right hand I'm might be okay sooner buuuut  You know I gotta have that left hand operating the hot keys.

EDIT: turns out it didnt take that long to be able to at least draw. Not quite as perfectly or as quickly as before, but I was really bummed thinking it'd be longer.
I have a few commissions waiting that I can't or don't feel like sharing, and stuff that can't go on here because the site's run by whackjobs, but you can at least stop worrying. More Zelda monsters coming sometime this month yayy

It is so great, you guys. it's great at huge stuff because I don't have to zoom constantly to get good lines, it's great at small stuff because it understands how to make tiny lines taper properly... it's so great. I wish I'd just bitten the bullet and learned it years ago. Kiwi Day N would have benefited that's for sure.
You should all get it too. It's cheap as bazoobs especially when it's on sale which is often.
